On the way home from visiting a friend on Sunday July 15th 2007, Jamie, age 27, hit a slick spot on an off- ramp hydroplaned and hit the guard rail. As Jamie got out of his car to inspect the damage, another car also hydroplaned and Jamie was hit. He is now in critical care. This blog is our attempt to keep everyone informed of his recovery and a place for you to leave your well wishes and prayers to Jamie and his family.

Jamie had a tough night. It seems that he has a blood infection and pneumonia. Keep sending your prayers and positive energy he needs them now more that ever.
We are all praying like crazy. My office friend's brother-in-law was had a heart attack and was put in a medically induced coma three weeks ago. He developed pneumonia and a blood infection also. He was in critical condition for 12 days. Today he is walking out of the hospital! Miracles happen every minute and we are expecting miracles with Jamie. Blessings, Jane
O Jesus, Good Shepherd, you heal the sick and the needy. I give you all those parts of Jamie's body which have suffered trauma. You know what it is like to endure pain. Look kindly on your child Jamie today and heal him. Restore his strength of soul and body. Give Your gift of wisdom to his physicians that they may be guided by the Holy Spirit in all they do. Bless Jamie's nurses so that their hands will become Your hands as they touch him. Bless, too, his medication and that his body may accept it. O Jesus, grant Jamie Your healing grace of love and peace. Amen.
