On the way home from visiting a friend on Sunday July 15th 2007, Jamie, age 27, hit a slick spot on an off- ramp hydroplaned and hit the guard rail. As Jamie got out of his car to inspect the damage, another car also hydroplaned and Jamie was hit. He is now in critical care. This blog is our attempt to keep everyone informed of his recovery and a place for you to leave your well wishes and prayers to Jamie and his family.

Update Monday
Jamie had a good night. He is opening his eyes for the nurses. The doctors said he is in a holding pattern right now, nothing new good nothing new bad.
More to come as the day progresses.
Lets pray to get him over this next hurtle.

Mike and Brenda, we learned of Jamie's accident from Mary John's updates. Please know that we have been praying for Jamie, the family, and all the medical staff attending him. I know from past experience that you are in excellent hands at CMC Neuo ICU! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all daily and we will continue to check in the blog several times a day!! O Jesus, Good Shepherd, you heal the sick and the needy. I give you all those parts of Jamie's body which have suffered trauma. You know what it is like to endure pain. Look kindly on your child Jamie today and heal him. Restore his strength of soul and body. Give Your gift of wisdom to his physicians that they may be guided by the Holy Spirit in all they do. Bless Jamie's nurses so that their hands will become Your hands as they touch him. Bless, too, his medication and that his body may accept it. O Jesus, grant Jamie Your healing grace of love and peace. Amen.
